Thank You for Making the 10th Year of Ladies in Blue a Success!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the incredible success of the 10th Annual Ladies in Blue event! Thanks to your generous donations of clothing, time, and energy, we were able to welcome and serve over 1,100 shoppers this year — our biggest turnout yet!

This event would not have been possible without the amazing support of our community:

  • REI and Fred Meyer graciously donated food to keep our hardworking volunteers fueled throughout the week.
  • A special thank you to Judy Ackaret, a generous community member who donated delicious Crumbl cookies for our volunteers — a sweet treat that lifted everyone’s spirits! And to Jim and Susan McGuire for their donation, which provided water, candy and pizza for our volunteers.
  • We were honored to work alongside multiple service-engaged and case-managed groups, helping ensure that those most in need had access to essential clothing and support.
  • We are deeply grateful for the continued partnership of the Beaverton Resource Center and B4Church. Your collaboration and commitment are the backbone of this event.
  • A heartfelt thank you to the BSOBR participantsDaughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and the Beaverton Women’s Club for volunteering their time and energy.
  • We were also thrilled to see many new faces join us this year, alongside dedicated volunteers who have been with us since the very beginning—10 years strong!

We also want to extend a special thank you to our shoppers, who showed incredible patience and grace while waiting in the long lines. Your kindness and understanding helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.

We were truly humbled by the entire experience this year—by the generosity, the compassion, and the spirit of community that surrounded every moment of this event.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Beaverton Police Chief Stacy Jepson, Deputy Chief Alan Juilfs and his wife—who arrived in blue in a wonderful show of support for the mission, Washington County Sheriff Caprice Massey, and Beaverton Mayor Lacey Beaty and her daughter for taking the time to visit and experience the event firsthand. Your presence meant so much to us and to the community we serve.

This milestone year was an exceptional reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together with compassion and purpose. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us make a meaningful impact in our community.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re already preparing for another impactful year. We will begin accepting donations of new or gently used women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories in February. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, we welcome your support!

With heartfelt appreciation,
